The Fat Freezing fatty tissue can be reduced by cold has been known for a while since
1966, An extended and controlled exposure to the cold (20-60 minutes, depending on the fat layer’s thickness) causes the fatty acids contained by the cells to crystallize. These fat cells thus forfeit their viability (so-called apoptosis). Other body
cells like dermal and muscular cells-are less sensitive to cold and are thus not affected by it.
Within the scope of a slow process, the dead fat cells are decomposed by endogenous cytophages.
This will take 2 to 3 months. Consequently, the treatment’s final result will not be obvious before the respective time has passed by.
Fat Freezing is different to other non-surgical
lipo treatments that use lasers (like,I-Lipo,3D Lipo and Laser Lipo) - with Cryolipolyis fat cells are permanently destroyed. Clinical studies have shown Cryolypolysis non surgical liposuction treatment to be effective on between 20% - 40% of the fat cells
in the treatment area in just one session. Cryo Lipo cools the fat in the treatment area of your body, when cooled to a controlled temperature the fat cells crystallise and die. It is heralded as a non-surgical alternative to Liposuction, it is a futuristic
body sculpting treatment that celebrities can no longer keep secret!
During the weeks following treatment the destroyed cells are processed through your lymphatic system. Results can start
to be seen in as little as 2 weeks, although it may take up to 4 months for you to see the full effects of Cryo or Fat Freezing.
First of all, the fat pads are marked by lines and photos are taken of the respective areas.
fat pads will be pulled into a cooling device (similar to cupping glasses) by means
of a vacuum and cooled for an hour. Thereafter, the respective area will be massaged
IS THE TREATMENT PAINFULL
the fat pads are pulled in by the vacuum you might feel some kind of cold and/or pressure. However, this impression usually won’t last any longer than just a few minutes. The treatment does not require any (local) anesthesia.After the treatment, you might feel slight pain in the respective area for a few days or even weeks. Temporary numbness or increased skin sensitivity have also been observed.
HOW LONG IS RECOVERY AFTER TREATMENT?
This procedure is not surgical. That means you will be able to resume your normal activities right after the treatment. This fact is one
of the major advantages in fat freezing.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
A single treatment session will reduce
about 25 to 30% of the fat volume exposed to the cold. Frequently, this reduction is perceived as sufficient. However, if so requested, additional treatments can be applied to same or a neighboring area to achieve an ideal result.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SEE THE RESULTS?
The fat is gently and slowly degraded within a period of up to three months. Consequently, it
takes a little while and patience until the result of the treatment becomes obvious.
ARE THERE ANY SPECIFIC PEOPLE EXCLUDED FROM THE TREATMEN?
Yes. If you experience any of the conditions below, the treatment cannot be applied on you:
individuals who over-react to cold, e.g. by so-called cryoglobulinemia
or by cold agglutinins. Furthermore in cases of nocturnal cold hematuria and cold urticaria, which are extremely rare diseases;
dermal diseases, inflammations and/or injuries/wounds in the area to be treated;
individual who suffer from extreme overweight and aspire weight reduction;
individual who suffer from inguinal hernia or laparocele or underwent surgery for this reason within the last year (this applies to treatments in the abdominal area only).
WHAT UNWANTED SIDE EFFECYS MAY OCCUR?
After the treatment, the respective area might be slightly sclerotic and sensitive to pain, similar to having sore muscles.
Frequently, patients experience dermal numbness or hypersensitivity that may last up to two months.
In rare cases, bruises have been observed. In extremely rare cases the line between treated
and untreated tissue is clearly obvious.
WHO IS THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR CRYOLIPOLYSIS?
Cryolipolysis is especially
indicated for local fat reduction: The ideal candidates are those who want to reduce localised fat deposits for instance on the abdomen, flanks, lower back, hips, thighs, upper arms etc. These tend to be areas particularly stubborn to diet and exercise. Although
most people are treatable, it is not an overall weight loss solution. We suggest that the ideal candidate is within or near their ideal body weight range (BMI) people in this group will see the best results. But, it can also be an excellent additional motivation
for those embarking on a change in lifestyle. To all those who suffer from unwanted fat pads in the abdominal and hip area, on thighs and upper arms, or - in case of male patients - also from padding in the chest area (so-called gynecomastia), which can barely
be reduced by dietary measures and physical activity.
However, please note that fat freezing is no weight reduction measure.
We can quite literally freeze your butt off!....muffin top, love handles, abdominal and hip area, on thighs and upper arms & back fat.
